Tracksuit Manager 2 - Amiga
Broadcast review
The days of Amiga boys hitting console owners in the face with kick-o-ball-o-games is gone. But still, Mr Soccer Management is on their side.
Long has it been a battle between Dr Charles Championship and Cpr David Premier: they fight with sticks.
But now then comes this game, which looks like a mix of the two, and it's "Oh, hello dolly". No greetings.
Tracksuit Manager 2 takes the good ideas from CM '94, the better ideas from PM, and then messes up.
Their match concept, with two commentators speech-bubbling away, makes for a tedious tile-fantasy (gameplaying).
And, look, we've never liked dumb icon-driven menus; the player price-structure is the most ridiculous yet.
Championship Manager 2 will be out soonish. Maybe. Wait!

While kicko-ballo games are the biggest defiant gesture Amiga owners have to the console bedecked chummies, the epitome has been achieved years ago.
This king of game, Championship Manager and its churlish offspring, have stood the test of time and beaten The Premier Manager clan into putrid second.
Then this game, which looks like a mix between the two, comes along and it's hello dolly! No, no greetings.
Tracksuit Manager 2 takes the good ideas from CM94, the better ideas from PM and then messes up.
Their match concept, with two commentators speech-bubbling what their eyes can see to you, the viewer, makes for tedious television (gameplaying).
And we've never liked dumb icon driven menus. And the player price structure is the most ridiculous yet. And CM2 will be out soonish (maybe). Wait!
