We can understand how upsetting it is for the Americans not to have any history of their own before about 1976, but we wish they would stop wiping their pallid, streaky jowls over ours.
Part "Yes, my Liege?", part "No, my Liege", here is a fairly awful Populous-plus-jousts strategy action game.
There are two ways to win: invade London and become King, or kill a big dragon in a fight. That's right.
Whilst any attempt to combine genres is normally to be applauded, in the case of Conqueror it is to be destroyed.
Because the grow-crops, buy-troops bit is just pointlessly undemanding, and the 3D jousting "moments" tread the piano wire that separates gameplay tragedy from graphical farce.
Do you remember the old Robin Hood Amiga/ST game? It has a map just like that. But that doesn't mean anything!
