Professor Tim's Incredible Machines - PC
Sierra's Incredible Machine series has been going as long as Digitiser, which is quite stimulating.
For some time they've been trying to force the edutainment-puzzle puppy through the "proper game" gauze. And this time they've more or less managed it, with only some mild staining.
Two boys take it in turns to add parts to a machine, and the one who makes it work gets to experiment on a blowfly.
Professor Tim's Incredible Machines includes all the odd bits from previous TIM outings.
Take parts (ramp, ball, pump, belt, felt, kilt), make machine, perform comedy task (feed cat, belittle poet).
It's one of the best edutainment titles in your life, although Maxis's Widget Workshop offers rather more "edu".
Mr Biffo's Incredible Machines has been delayed pending a court ruling.
