I'm scripting a remake of the classic Spielberg movie E.T. In my version of the film E.T. is a cat who gets lost in the woods.
He's found by the son of a divorced woodswoman, Elliot, and hidden in a cupboard for four days. Because Elliot gets drunk, E.T. is forgotten about, and when he finally manages to escape is half-starved and quite thirsty. The feline hero has a drink out of the toilet, and then he somehow manages to find his way home. The End.
