Rayman - PlayStation, 20/10/95

Sigh. We wanted to like this so very much. It's had so much work put into it, and the cutesy, cartoon graphics look lovely.

It's just a shame the gameplay is entirely derivative of every platformer that's ever gone before.

There is the occasional flash of originality, but on the whole this is nothing more than a slickly-constructed old-gen game. Raspers!
