29 September 1995 - WORKS IN ADVERTISING
I've been asked to develop a TV advert for a new kind of food colouring.
The advert starts with a massive explosion, then a lovely girl comes out holding some candles.
The camera pans round and zooms in on a side of beef, laying on a chair. The woman looks up, kicks the chair over, and a gush of blue liquid sprays from inside her blouse onto the beef.

I'm developing new concepts in advertising.
One idea I've had is to write the word "TELES" as an advert for telescopes on the side of a car.
Someone would drive the car around a precinct at night. In case you're wondering how people would get to see it - don't worry!
We'll just film the whole thing and send them a tape.

I'm developing new concepts in advertising.
My latest idea involves dropping one thousand sawfly larvae from an aeroplane over a field.
Earlier, we’d have written the name of the product in glue on the mud. As the larvae hatch, those not on the glue will crawl away.
What's left will be a living promotion writhing under our coloured lights.
