Super-gent David Walford's Chunky Fringe is a celebration of teletext, retro tech and related tomfoolery, with a distinctly DIY/homebrew feel. In previous years it has taken place alongside Digitiser Live, but with there being no Digi event on the 2025 "slate", Chunky Fringe has broken loose and just will not stop, ever.
The not-stopping takes place once again at Harrow Arts Centre in leafy north London, on Saturday 4 October 2025, and is completely free to enter - just, like, turn up, and that. No tickets required.
This year's panels include a live recording of Paul (Mr Biffo) and Sanja Rose's Bubblegun podcast, followed by a whistlestop tour of the best of teletext-era Digitiser, with Biffo and Chris Bell (aka Bellston, the man writing the words that you are now reading).
